Michael Granberg joined the Bayleys Valuation Team in 2023 focussing on institutional grade asset valuations and on retail valuation and advisory services in particular.
Prior to joining Bayleys, Michael had been with Colliers International for more than twenty years focussing on institutional grade valuation work being one of only a small number of valuers in the country specialising in the valuation of major shopping centres, together with investor grade retail such as supermarkets, local centres, large format retail and trade retail.
Michael’s experience affords him a position on all of the major bank panels, and he provides valuation and advisory services for a wide range of purposes including rent review strategies, development feasibilities, lease structure advice, acquisition valuations, arbitrations as well as valuations for financial reporting.
Michael has had involvement with almost every major shopping centre in New Zealand with clients including both major owners as well major occupiers such as Scentre Group (Westfield), AMP (Dexus), Kiwi Property, Stride Property, Investore, Farmers and Briscoe Group and undertakes work throughout the country.
