Nick Thacker was appointed Director of Valuation Services for Bayleys Valuation Limited at the end of 2016 having previously worked for Jones Lang LaSalle as a Valuer since 2006.

Nick’s area of expertise is predominantly in the commercial, retail, development and childcare sectors of the Auckland property market providing valuations for mortgage security, financial reporting, due diligence purposes and syndication.

Additionally Nick has been involved in a number of major Auckland intensive housing developments and subdivisions providing valuation and consultancy advice relied upon for feasibility and mortgage security purposes.

Specialist assignments completed include Freehold Going Concern valuations within the childcare sector, service station valuations together with Leasehold property valuations and ground rental reviews.

Other areas of expertise include valuations for insurance purposes as well as rental negotiation.

Nick has been involved in a number of major property transactions and has completed valuations of investment property for a number of large Listed Property Trusts, Corporate clients and Government Organisations including Goodman, Augusta, AUT, Todd Property, Willis Bond, Auckland Council, MBIE, Lollipops, Evolve and Kindercare.
