Willem brings over 30 years’ experience working in both the rural and SME sectors to the Bayleys Commercial and Industrial team. Originally from Gisborne and a fierce supporter of the East coast region, he loves making the trek to see family and friends.
Calling Cambridge home for 15 years, Willem has spent the last four years establishing a strong foothold in the Waikato commercial property market. Through hard work, reputation and an empathy for hardworking business owners, Willem has built an enviable network of professional contacts in the Waikato and Bay of Plenty region. Before joining Bayleys, he spent eight very successful years as the leading salesperson for Waikato, Bay of Plenty and South Auckland with bulk fuel company northfuels.co.nz, clients were typically transport companies, earthmoving contractors and large-scale farming businesses.
Willem has been involved with youth mentoring since 2012 through Waikato Youth Empowerment Trust and Graeme Dingle Foundation.
Away from work he loves spending time with Margaret and Johannes his adult children who he is immensely proud of and connecting and enjoying hunting and fishing adventures with his friends.
Bayleys continues to have a high profile across the community through involvement in local events, activities and sporting groups. From significant cash sponsorship to mentoring groups on event management, marketing and public speaking; the Bayleys name is synonymous with being involved in what is happening and what is on in our community.
