This summer, Bayleys Whanganui and Ruapehu are excited to partner with Woven Whānau to make a meaningful difference in the lives of local tamariki and whānau.

For every house sold during December 2024 and January 2025, Bayleys will donate a backpack filled with essential school supplies to a child in need through the Woven Whānau community. Every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, and our backpack initiative is about giving tamariki the best possible start to their education. Through our partnership with Woven Whānau, the backpacks we provide aren’t just filled with school supplies - they are a symbol of care, connection, and community. These backpacks help children feel valued, supported, and ready to embrace the school year with confidence and excitement, knowing their whānau is backed by a community that cares.

Woven Whānau are a Whanganui-born initiative that believes in walking alongside parents, and grandparents raising mokopuna in their journey to raise strong, resilient whānau. They offer support through lived experience and help to connect them with community services and other families who understand their challenges.

By creating a space where everyone belongs, they empower whānau to build stable, loving environments for their tamariki. Woven Whānau help connect our community in meaningful ways to ensure that no one faces these challenges alone.
