A portfolio of 46 premium new apartments is for sale in an award-winning development in one of Auckland’s most desirable North Shore coastal locations.
The 34 one-bedroom and 12 two-bedroom apartments for sale through Bayleys are ready for immediate occupation. They form part of the Elementum development, a quality master-planned beachside community at Long Bay.
Completed in 2025, the wider development encompasses 132 residences in a mix of dwelling and apartment typologies across nine buildings. These are connected by shared private gardens on an elevated site above Long Bay village.
Elementum was delivered by Templeton Group, one of the largest developers and master planners of land and property in New Zealand.
The 46 apartments located in the Elementum development at Pennant Street, Windlass Street and Te Oneroa Way, Long Bay, are being offered for sale, in one line, by deadline private treaty closing on Thursday 8 October, through Bayleys Real Estate.
The apartments for sale are spread throughout the development.
Ranging in size from some 48 to 91 square metres, the one and two-bedroom units feature an open-plan lounge, dining and designer kitchen area, one bathroom and laundry/storage, along with balconies and decks. The units embody superior construction, with high-quality fitout, premium finishes and floor coverings and expansive glazing allowing plenty of natural light.
They include a mix of basement and on-grade parking and are centred around a shared, fully developed and landscaped recreational area.
Bayleys Capital Markets and Metropolitan Markets Director Layne Harwood says with no comparable apartment projects planned for the area, buyers can look forward to leveraging future market conditions and benefiting from an expected increase in value as the economy improves.
“This one-line acquisition opportunity gives buyers the chance to secure premium-quality residential accommodation at an affordable price that will appeal to the local rental market, while positioning for an expected improvement in the market and an option to re-sell apartments individually in the future.
“The wider residential market is starting its recovery. Independent forecasters are typically predicting house prices will rise modestly over the next three years. Migration gains and constrained housing supply are likely to continue to drive long-term price growth,” says Harwood.
During the prior cycle, developers primarily focused on affordable products, he says.
“Buyers are, however, becoming more discerning, with a clear preference towards higher quality developments, more functional layouts, and higher specifications.
“In a current context where apartment completions are at their lowest point in three years and are likely to stay low for the foreseeable future, the availability of new good-quality stock is a positive amid a flight to quality.
“The superior master-planning, design and construction of the apartments now for sale places them firmly in this premium category, underpinning future value,” Harwood says.
Suzie Wigglesworth, Bayleys National Director for Residential Projects, says long-term value and rental demand are further supported by a highly desirable location characterised by accessibility, walkability and a like-minded community.
“Long Bay has emerged as a top-tier location with formidable residential pulling power thanks to its unique combination of coastal amenity and master-planned infrastructure. There are currently few apartments and houses available to meet rental demand.
“Elementum has pride of place in the very heart of Long Bay Village, with its New World supermarket, shops, and hospitality options.
“Quality schooling options at Long Bay College and Long Bay Primary School are a big drawcard for families. Within 10 minutes’ walk is one of Auckland’s best beaches, with its wide, popular swimming bay, regional park and marine reserve.
“Positioned around 25 kilometres from Auckland’s city centre, Long Bay is well served by bus routes. Albany transport hub is within convenient driving distance, as is Albany Town Centre with the North Shore’s largest shopping centre plus corporate offices, professional services, and educational institutions,” Wigglesworth says.
